Hall of Merit: Most Meritorious Player: 1988 Discussion

Oakland sweeps the Red Sox in the ALCS. The Dodgers beat the Mets in 7 games. The Dodgers beat the A’s in the World Series highlighted by Kirk Gibson’s pinch-hit HR.

After this ballot we will vote for 2013 and then jump back to 1950.

MMP voting will end on December 4, 2013.

Hall of Merit: Expansion Era Hall of Fame Mock Ballot

The rules are the same as for the committee that will meet in December. Player bios and complete rules are available on the Baseball Hall of Fame website. Vote for zero to five names from the combined list of twelve candidates. 75% is required to be elected.

Balloting will end 11/11/2013 at 3:00pm EST. This is for all registered BBTF users, not just typical Hall of Merit voters.

For 1987, each voter should rank their top 13 players from both leagues combined.

Balloting is scheduled to close at 4pm EST on 6 November 2013.

Anyone can vote, even if you do not normally participate in Hall of Merit discussions. If have never participated in an MMP election, just post a preliminary ballot in the discussion thread by 5 November 2013.
