Sox Therapy: 2019: The Year in Review

Happy New Year Theradpudians!  As 2018 morphs into 2019 I thought I would step into the Sox Therapy Time Machine and look back at what happened in 2019 as the Sox defended World Series title #9.

January 6 - Three really smart guys show up at Mookie Betts’ house with gifts for Mookie’s new baby.  They give the baby a copy of Gold Bond powder, Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein” and much mirth.  They may not be the three smart guys we thought.

Hall of Merit: Most Meritorious Player: 1949 Ballot

For 1949 each voter should rank the top 10 players from all leagues combined.

Balloting is scheduled to close at 4pm EDT on 2 January 2019. Let me know if there is a conflict due to the holidays and I can extend.

Anyone can vote, even if you do not normally participate in Hall of Merit discussions. If you have never participated in an MMP election, just post a preliminary ballot in the discussion thread by 1 Jan 2019.

For detailed rules see one of our previous ballots.
