The Red Sox said the sheath that covers a tendon in Schilling’s ankle is torn. . .
Schilling pitched with a brace Tuesday and had a shot of painkiller in the ankle. Still, he had trouble pushing off the rubber with his right leg.
The Red Sox hope a better brace will help, but if not, Schilling’s season will be over.

Youkilis, who will wear No. 20, will start at third base and bat eighth in his major league debut in this afternoon’s game at Toronto.

Is this another movie promotion? I figured just Brad Pitt in a skirt would help Troy have a big opening weekend… but promoting the Greek God of Walks probably can’t hurt Warner Brothers’ New England reciepts.
