I was very happy to see Millwood pitch well last night. I felt he has pitched much better than his numbers would indicate - I am certainly not ready to label him a bust yet.
Do you guys have any insight into what happened with Tim Ireland and the Rangers? As I just posted, it's odd for a team to let a minor league manager go with a "public" announcement of philosophical differences.

The speculation I've read indicates Ireland didn't get along with new Director of Player Development Scott Servais, was upset that he didn't have any decent players, and that the team was on the verge of quitting on him.... if they hadn't already by virtue of their 11-23 record at the time of Ireland's dismissal and 4-1 record since.
