Bio

GGC is the alter ego of Jon Daly; the Primate with chronic writer’s block.  Vinay Kumar wasn’t far off the mark when he said that GGC was the whimsical side of Daly.  But even, when Daly doesn’t assume the guise of GGC, he is far from a dark soul.

Since GGC is semi-imaginary, it is best to proceed with the bio of Jon Daly instead.  A Red Sox fan since 1975, Jon resides in Hartford, CT.  Occasionally the muse strikes him and he writes something.  Back in ‘01, he did a presentation about Mike Morgan that impressed Jim Furtado and the rest is history.  Daly has contributed a handful of bios to the SABR BioProject; including Jim Willoughby, George Whiteman, Billy Southworth. and Tacks Latimer.  Upcoming bios include Bowie Kuhn and Schoolboy Johnny Taylor.  Jon would love to hook up with an illustrator and write the Great American Graphic Novel.  In the meantime, he has settled for a paying job.
