Ok, so we get a second round pick for Jay Payton and Frank Thomas right? Or a sandwich pick? And then a first rounder for Zito?
But we might lose our first rounder for Piazza…
I guess what I’m asking is, what is this year’s college crop like, and do we have a good shot at some Swisher-esque folks who can revive our powerless system?

Ok, i guess it was WAY back in the day, but I’ve been lurking for a long time, and the 2 day blackout made me realize how much primer means to me (and cruising the wiki during that time made me see how many of the inside jokes I actually get because I was reading the site at the time), and hence I have decided to become a more active member of the community.
I guess my credibility is pretty low at the moment, tho, considering my first post.
