When was the shortest game in major league history? I seem to remember reading that here was a game in 1919 that was less than 50 minutes. Thanks!

Baseball Almanac states that the shortest nine inning game in MLB history was on 9/28/1919 between the NY Giants and the Philadelphia Phillies.  It was played in 51 minutes.

One of the more miraculous things I’ve seen in baseball is a Tony LaRussa-managed team play a nine-inning spring training game in 1:51 or thereabouts.
