Forum doesn’t seem to be exactly active, but I figured I’d post this here since the original author helps with the site

I’ve read what Dan Szymborski had to write at http://www.baseballthinkfactory.org/btf/scholars/czerny/articles/calculatingMLEs.htm and understood all that good and well.

However I have a couple questions.

1) What is the expected % of drop off for AA and lower?  Without this knowledge it’s impossible to calculate MLEs for players below AAA

2) What is the formula for calculating MLEs for pitchers?
