It appears the Dbacks have dropped Vargas from the rotation, in favor of Russ Ortiz. Vazquez will start tomorrow, and Webb will go on Sunday. Vargas is still a good bet to appear in the game though, after the Gnats hit 4 consecutive homers off him in the second inning.

Cain is a keeper. I'm glad he's on my team in my NL only keeper league...

Then again, MLB.com claims that Vargas is starting tonight. So much for Ortiz getting a chance to prove that the 2005 season was a fluke...

Yeah, I think it is time for some guarded optimism on Cain. This was his worst start, and it wasn't so bad, eh?
