At least the Braves are making Snell work a little bit; 79 pitches through 5 innings. Sticks need to wake up, though.

Glavine only 48 through 4; the Braves could use 7 from him.

With his two strikeouts today, giving him 2,583 for his career, Glavine broke his tie with Bob Feller for 25th all time on the career strike out list, and is now tied with Warren Spahn for 24th.

BTW -- does it strike anyone else as unusual that in the Braves lineup, the first five batters are all infielders, and the outfield is batting 7 8 and 9?

It's amazing because we have definitely seen the best three pitcher combo ever on one team in Maddux, Smoltz, and Glavine. All of them getting it done in their own way, and doing a fine job of it.

Russell is really pushing Snell.

Bobby Cox is so incompetent.
