Is there any way to change the font size when you post tables? I can barely read #1.
   3. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 04:16 PM (#2794113)
Fosse really, really, really needs to stop whining about how many Red Sox fans are there. He does it a dozen times a broadcast in these games.
   4. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 04:17 PM (#2794115)
There goes the no-hitter.
   5. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 04:19 PM (#2794120)
Great start.
   6. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 05:00 PM (#2794186)
Old Lester is back, coming off his 130 pitch effort. Not throwing strike one (or two or three in a lot of cases), working incredibly slowly.
   7. PJ Martinez Posted: May 25, 2008 at 05:25 PM (#2794201)
So... 130 pitches, eh?
   8. kevin Posted: May 25, 2008 at 05:26 PM (#2794203)
Afternoon. Gents.

Phil must be fast asleep right now.
   9. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 05:34 PM (#2794210)
Manny slowly emerging from his slump? I had no expectation of him doing anything good there.
   10. kevin Posted: May 25, 2008 at 05:35 PM (#2794212)
Way to go, Manny.

Maybe he's snapping out of his slump.
   11. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 05:38 PM (#2794213)
Awful, pathetic, dreadful AB by Lowell.
   12. kevin Posted: May 25, 2008 at 05:38 PM (#2794214)
Not much of a chatter today, huh Chip? A hangover from yesterday?
   13. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 05:39 PM (#2794215)
Holiday departures.

Also, who wants to chat about a team that sucks?
   14. kevin Posted: May 25, 2008 at 05:40 PM (#2794216)
Crap.

At least they got the two runs back.
   15. kevin Posted: May 25, 2008 at 05:41 PM (#2794217)
Yeah, that's probably it.

Criminy chip. We're only a few days away from the no-hitter.
   16. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 05:41 PM (#2794218)
And another awful AB by Youkilis, who has been terrible this whole series. That was a really terrible pitch by Blanton, except for the fact that it was so high and outside it was unreachable. And yet Youks still swung at it.
   17. Darren Posted: May 25, 2008 at 05:42 PM (#2794219)
Should've traded Lester after the no-hitter.
   18. Darren Posted: May 25, 2008 at 05:43 PM (#2794220)
Youks is streaky. They should play him the first half of each season and use him as a defensive replacement for the 2nd half.
   19. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 05:44 PM (#2794221)
Criminy chip. We're only a few days away from the no-hitter.

I'm just growing increasingly annoyed at the road dreadfulness. Hopefully then can make me feel better about that over the last four innings.
   20. kevin Posted: May 25, 2008 at 06:00 PM (#2794234)
Me too, Chip.

At least Hansen had a good inning.

I'm beginning to understand what bother people about his mechanics. He seems kind of clumsy onthe mound.
   21. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 06:02 PM (#2794235)
Small positive: Pedroia finally decided to take a walk in this game.
   22. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 06:03 PM (#2794236)
But not here. Takes one pitch up at eye level, then swings at the second. Awful.
   23. Weekly Journalist_ Posted: May 25, 2008 at 06:08 PM (#2794240)
Speaking of road woes, has anyone seen Jacoby Ellsbury's INSANE home/road splits? I've never seen anything like it.
   24. Weekly Journalist_ Posted: May 25, 2008 at 06:15 PM (#2794244)
UnCustable!
   25. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 06:16 PM (#2794245)
Un-Loogy.

3 true outcomes...
   27. Mattbert Posted: May 25, 2008 at 06:20 PM (#2794247)
There's only one possible outcome when Lopez is on the mound: the LHH will not make an out.
   28. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 06:29 PM (#2794251)
Figures: lefties have crushed Embree so far this year. But not this time.
   29. Mattbert Posted: May 25, 2008 at 06:34 PM (#2794256)
FREE JED LOWRIE
   30. Mattbert Posted: May 25, 2008 at 06:42 PM (#2794259)
The A’s broadcasters just described Bobby Crosby as the team’s “iron man” this year, since he’s started every game thusfar.

I don’t think I’ll stop laughing for a while.
   31. kevin Posted: May 25, 2008 at 06:45 PM (#2794261)
Did Lugo make another ####### error?
   32. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 06:45 PM (#2794262)
On a routine play.
   33. Chip Posted: May 25, 2008 at 06:47 PM (#2794263)
10-17.
   34. Greg Maddux School of Reflexive Profanity Posted: May 25, 2008 at 06:48 PM (#2794264)
Huzzah!
   35. Elevate Phil Coorey Later Posted: May 25, 2008 at 09:09 PM (#2794316)
Phil must be fast asleep right now.

Thank God I was
