Cora has sucked defensively this year. Which kind of makes the whole can't hit thing that much more glaring.

Phil, there's already 2 outs.

What a joke - who did Lowrie #### again?

I was talking about the Clay thing

Theres the game - awesome stuff

Oh. I'm not sure it would've been a DP. It was pretty much right back up the middle, I don't think Cora would have gotten to it at all. If Buchholz doesn't knock it down/kick it over, I think it's a single.

On the Fox replay it showed Pedroia situated right behind the bag at second when it hit Clay. He was positioned to his right for some reason, it would have been a DP for sure mate.

Great Stuff Cora you useless ####

Nomar has 2 home runs and 5 RBIs so far in the 6th inning tonight.

I guess I missed that on the replay, I was more focusing on Buchholz kicking the ball.

Also, Aardsma tonight and when he pitched in Buchholz's last game has only been like 90-92 MPH with his fastball. Is he hurt?
   110. Chip Posted: July 18, 2008 at 11:46 PM (#2864629)
#### you Tek and your ####### standup fastball.

FAILS.

And the wasted pitch leads to an extra pitch leads to a missed location leads to a 2-out 2-run hit.

Thanks for costing us 4 runs, Cora.

Thanks for costing us 4 runs, Cora.

Hopefully he'll be in tomorrow
   113. Dan Posted: July 18, 2008 at 11:48 PM (#2864632)
Not that Buchholz or Aardsma aren't partially at fault there too, but that was a Lugo type ######.
   114. Chip Posted: July 18, 2008 at 11:48 PM (#2864633)
His current slump/career-ending cliff dive has highlighted why Tek loves to call the standup fastball: he's the only hitter in baseball dumb enough to swing at it every time. He thinks everyone is as dumb at the plate as he is.

People say Lowries defense is bad? The other two make him look like Ozzie Smith and they still wont plug him in there

I'm seriously considering turning this game off. That play by Manny was the stupidest thing I have ever seen.

Sooner this game ends - the better
   118. bonifacio's got the good face! Posted: July 19, 2008 at 12:04 AM (#2864641)
you know, it's possible that Manny really is as bad a fielder as those guys who do "The Book" argue...
   119. Chip Posted: July 19, 2008 at 12:06 AM (#2864642)
Theo, you're sitting behind home plate, so once again you can see how much Javy Lopez sucks.

GO GET BRIAN FUENTES!

Thank you.

Garrett Anderson is 4 for 4

Enough said
   121. Dan Posted: July 19, 2008 at 12:22 AM (#2864650)
Well I'm going to bed, I need to be up early and this isn't worth staying up for.

Hopefully Cora is hurt
