Damn, Bay just missed a HR there.

I don't know what the #### Cruz did in that corner, but it took him approximately a year to get the ball in to the IF.

STEAL SECOND

Huge AB for Baldelli in Toronto...bases loaded, 2 outs, 8th inning, down 1-0...

Popped up to LF on a hittable pitch by being too far in front. Bases left loaded.

And how about Cassel?!

0-2 to a walk?

Byrd really is a Red Sox pitcher now

Looking a bit lonely here Dan. Just switched over from the Football. Like what I see though...

hey.
   9. kevin Posted: September 07, 2008 at 04:16 PM (#2932044)
Weird play.
   10. Dan Posted: September 07, 2008 at 04:19 PM (#2932059)
ORTIZ!
   11. kevin Posted: September 07, 2008 at 04:19 PM (#2932063)
Wow. That was a no-doubter.
   12. Fancy Pants Handle Posted: September 07, 2008 at 04:20 PM (#2932065)
That was that article today saying he didn't have any power left that did that.
   13. kevin Posted: September 07, 2008 at 04:51 PM (#2932111)
yeehah.
   14. Fancy Pants Handle Posted: September 07, 2008 at 04:57 PM (#2932117)
Nice tackle by Crisp there, Bay would have been clean through otherwise...
   15. kevin Posted: September 07, 2008 at 04:57 PM (#2932118)
Tampa feeling the heat, finally?
   16. Dan Posted: September 07, 2008 at 05:03 PM (#2932126)
Well, Bay didn't miss that one.

I don't think so kevin. The Rays have sucked against LHP and on the road all year. A LHP on the road for them is pretty much anathema to them.

Lopez!
   18. Dan Posted: September 07, 2008 at 05:23 PM (#2932148)
Manny just managed to let Mark Reynolds take second on a bloop that dropped in right in front of him.
   19. Dan Posted: September 07, 2008 at 05:26 PM (#2932150)
WTF Cora? How do you take a straight 85 mph fastball right down the pipe?
   20. Darren Posted: September 07, 2008 at 05:29 PM (#2932152)
I know I'm paranoid but I'm starting to worry about Tampa falling apart completely and letting the Yanks back in. That's dumb though.
   21. Fancy Pants Handle Posted: September 07, 2008 at 05:30 PM (#2932155)
Yes. Yes it is.
   22. Dan Posted: September 07, 2008 at 05:31 PM (#2932156)

That's not dumb. That's insane. The Yankees are going to be behind the Jays in 4th place after they lose today.
   23. Elevate Phil Coorey Later Posted: September 07, 2008 at 05:32 PM (#2932157)
Darren, that thought entered my mind as well but I find it hard to think it will happen.
   24. PJ Martinez Posted: September 07, 2008 at 05:33 PM (#2932159)
yeah, that is insane. the yanks would have to catch the twins, too.
   25. Dan Posted: September 07, 2008 at 05:34 PM (#2932160)
That's besides the fact that Tampa isn't falling apart at all. They ran into a hot Blue Jays team that has very, very good pitching. And they've been about as bad as the Sox on the road all year anyway. They'll get Longoria back next weekend too.

Need to move Pedroia back the clean up spot, so he can rake again@!
