The question tonight is: do the Cards fold into a fetal position and get swept if they lose tonight and the Astros win? Because then all of a sudden they have to play from behind the last two games...

This would really be something. You almost hope there's a one-game playoff on Tuesday because after the last two weeks this feels like it should be decided with the teams actually playing each other.

Go Brewers.

Would they play off, if tied?

Yes, because a playoff spot would be at issue. (Not like in '01, when they tied for the division, but both teams made the playoffs.) Here, the loser goes home.

Ah, thanks. That explains it.

Alright, Jenkins. 1-0 Brewers top of the first...

Before that 1-2 pitch, Pujols asked CAPUANO for a time-out (by holding his hand up towards the mound and looking at Capuano), not the umpire. (and Capuano stepped off)

Funny.

That's no good... Preston Wilson HR.

2-1 STL.

I fondly recall Sil Campusano.

Lineout DP with two runners on. Argggh.

Hall throws out Wilson from his knees... nice.

Helps when you have a cannon for an arm.

Pujols makes it 6-1 STL. Oops.
