Great lineup Lou.

And I really hope Aramis is fully healed.

Theriot's fixation on stealing bases finally pays off.

Good to have Aramis back.

I can't wait for Fonzi to come back and replace the Dunston imitation he has been doing lately.

Wow... you won't manage yourself to too many wins by stealing with old, injury-prone players. Who runs the Reds again?

Oh, right.

Was that as close to being out as Gameday suggests?

Warning track, not to the wall though. Promising nonetheless.

Pretty nice bunt by Kosuke. Not really happy about him doing it on the first pitch after back to back walks though.

I cursed the "in play, out(s) recorded" notification on the first pitch, not even considering the idea of a bunt.
   12. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: May 06, 2008 at 08:13 PM (#2771204)
Man, and that's why the sac bunt is overrated.

Could really use a hit from Cedeno, not just for the runs, but to boost him in Lou's eyes, YEA!!!!

Thankfully Ronny picks Soto up.

Good to see Zambrano pitching well despite the control problems.
   16. Sweet Posted: May 06, 2008 at 08:55 PM (#2771309)
That double play was big with Dunn on deck. That it for Zambrano? (I'd probably let him hit and send him out for another inning.)
   17. SouthSideRyan(hates Casey McGehee) Posted: May 06, 2008 at 09:01 PM (#2771340)
I'd let him start the next inning with the pen warming up at the start of the inning.

DICK POLE

Awesome inning.

A six pitch inning by the other team? I like this new future the Tribune Co. is offering.

Zambrano after the third inning: 1 hit, 0 walks. The Reds offense has been crappy this year, but that's still great stuff.
   21. SouthSideRyan(hates Casey McGehee) Posted: May 06, 2008 at 09:41 PM (#2771463)
Z got through those last 2 innings on 14 pitches. He was at 99 entering the 7th.
   22. Eric J Posted: May 06, 2008 at 09:44 PM (#2771466)
Well, this one means we won't outscore the other team and still lose 2 of 3 for the fourth series in a row...
