Phil Dumatrait.

That is all.

That strike two pitch to Kosuke was in exactly the same spot as strike two, and was called a ball. Of course, I thought strike two was a ball.

I think this speaks well of Cubs fans around the world. I come home in the early hours of the morning and everybody else has better things to do. Still, I was fearful, possibly despondent. The Cubs seemed poised to give up a game to Pittsburgh, but Ramirez’ mighty swing made everything all right. That was an awesome trade. If Ramirez had ever reached free agency he probably wouldn’t be a Cub. Also: Chipper Jones is now hitting .417. Is that even legal?

I haven't watched much tonight, but I'm seeing a lot of dumbass moves. Soriano's blunder is huge in retrospect, Kerry hitting a guy is almost a guaranteed blown save and I'm so SICK of Theriot thinking he's fast.

Good thing Lou took Lee out. Of course, if Theriot has any range as a shortstop, that's not even a close play.

i really wish lou wouldnt do things like that

Double switching out Lee was questionable, but Pinella didn't bounce the throw from SS, nor miss everything with a pitch to allow the runner to get into scoring position.

Poor form by Laz Diaz... faking out the fans that way

well ####

#### Ryan Theriot for thinking he's fast and for his shoddy defense. #### Alfonso Soriano for being a gimpy retard on the basepaths. #### Kerry Wood for plunking yet another hitter. And #### Lou for double-switching out Lee.

I needed to get that out. Pathetic showing tonight. You can't win them all, but looking like idiots is just about the worst way you can lose a game.

i garunte tomorrows line up includes edmonds, blanco, and fontanot
   14. NTNgod Posted: May 24, 2008 at 11:33 PM (#2793757)
Well, Blanco has to be a lock to catch - an early day game after a 14-inning night game?
   15. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: May 24, 2008 at 11:34 PM (#2793758)
Blanco's understandable and I Fontenot needs a start here and there. Edmonds, on the other hand, should be buried in centerfield before he's allowed to play there again.

Piniella needs to stop removing Lee from games for strategeric reasons. I can't really ever imagine it being a good idea.

Seriously?? What the ####!!!

Lee is the best hitter on the team and you switch him out for the worst hitter on the team. And Wuertz winds up hitting anyways!! Good hitters should never be double switched out in an extra inning games. Remember when we all ripped Yost for removing Braun in the 7th inning with a 2 run lead? This is just as bad. I'd love to think the Chicago media tore him a new one on this, but I'm sure they all cowered in fear of his beer gut and asked him why Kerry couldn't hold the lead.
