That worked out fine, though.

Wow, Marmol made Wilson look silly. His knees buckled on the first 2 sliders, and then he swung way ahead of the 3rd one.

McClouth was 5 for 6 against Marmol before that AB. And he was just frozen on strike 3 right down the middle (FB).

It would be nice if Marmol doesn't #### this up, though...

Uh, where's this doubt in Marmol coming from?

Probably just the leadoff walk.

It would be nice to light Jesse Chavez in his debut and get a little insurance here.

So Kerru will definitely be out tomorrow vs. Hamels. This is why Howry really shoulda pitched the 9th yesterday.

Wow. Great, quick work by Kerru.

33 games over for the first time since 1945. Pedal to the metal.

Kerru was nasty that inning. Hard cheese to get LaRoche. Slider froze Moss. Sanchez smoked that last one, but right to Theriot who knocked it down very defensively.

Good point, retro. The Cubs can win 112 if they don't lose again.
