Oh dear god.

Never mind, it is going to be a grand slam homer.

Jolbert Cabrera doesn't need to worry about winning any beauty contests, does he?

I hate you Michael Wuertz. Much as we ##### about Howry, we're going to keep seeing him as long as the law firm of "Wuertz, Hart and Cotts" keep walking guys and putting in sub-par outings in their own way.

That's OK, that was the "rally-killing grand slam".

I still contend that Howry is irrelevant in the playoffs with Marmol, Wood, BPJ, and Marshall down there.

Told you.
   108. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: September 06, 2008 at 10:25 PM (#2931585)
I can't believe you were right about the slam. Jesus.

It's as if they've forgotten how to win and they need to make it as messy and tense as a win in which you once led by 10 runs can be.

I've been hot tonight. I called Soriano's third homer and this one.

I concur, but until then, as long as "teh kids" keep walking the ballpark and not staying off Lou's lawn, we're going to keep seeing him in semi-important situations.

What the hell is Jolbert smiling about? His team is losing by 5 runs. Nice grand slam and all but your team is going to lose.
   114. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: September 06, 2008 at 10:27 PM (#2931593)
Dear god, just win this game.
   115. McCoy Posted: September 06, 2008 at 10:28 PM (#2931594)
One. More. Out.

Thank god. That was ugly, but beggars and choosers and all that.

Oh ####, I can't believe Bob just burned De Sad that badly. That was awesome.

Thank you Javier for extending your league-leading streak
   120. McCoy Posted: September 06, 2008 at 10:30 PM (#2931601)
What did Bob say?

"I never thought the day would come when we'd say we'd be glad to see Jason Marquis on the mound...."

I'm certain he didn't mean it the way it came out, but I can't for the life of me figure out what he DID mean to say.

This is not a game you can lose. Kudos, Marmol. Shame on you, run-up-givers. Shame on you. I love baseball, because stats are derived by doing #### with numbers. Football is confusing. Some dick evaluated the members of team Austria, gave them marks. Problem is the evaluator obviously didn’t see the game. Go (?) Cubs!, also: !
