Saw he was in the game and switched over beginning with the sixth inning. Now at 11 up, 11 down.

13 up, 13 down now, with 7ks. Pitch/FX has him hitting 98 a few times. If he's not in the rotation after this performance, I'll be stunned.

They gotta plug him in for Gonzalez, no? Makes sense since that's who he came in for tonight...can make the start five games from now.

who started better, Cueto in his first start or Scherer?

mind you I wouldn't mind the D-backs making a rush decision to put a guy in the rotation based upon one performance against a team which probably didn't have much of a scouting report on him. Especially an offensive powerhouse like the Astros.
