Terrible pitch selection. The kid can blow the ball by Delgado . . . and he quickens his bat with that???
I'm in shock.
This team is just absolutely flying right now. Remove interim from Jerry's tag tomorrow.
Yet Yost left him out there. As does Baker.
Odd.
Come on, lefty-mashing Evans.
How about Zombie? He's back from the dead and we aren't sure we can believe in him.
ENTER NIGHT!
It was a breaking ball.
You'd better not go back on this promise.
Two more, you rustic, rural, country #######.
Had it been a 95 mph fastball he probably would have hit a homerun
Happy Recap! Tied for first!
After watching Franco, Benitez and Wagner all put up All-Star numbers while being known to Mets fans as bums, I think that short of a homegrown and loveable and Rivera-quality guy no Met closer will ever have a good reputation
Los Tatis kick your face
Los Tatis kick your ass into OUTER SPACE!
No, just that this is not the way the Reds wanted to start the second half, that they did so many good things to come back from behind and then lost -- indeed, to the extent it's not bemoaning the poor Reds, they are calling it "the David Wright story" because he had the two-run single to close the gap and then the key HR to tie it. So they're giving him credit. But mostly they're bemoaning the Reds' fate.
