Ah, the rain delay allows me to stall even more before redoing the 3 journalism papers I have due tomorrow. That’s right! 3! REWRITE REWRITE REWRITE REWRITE AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH.

Yeah, I’m thinking about changing majors. To garbage-man.

The White Sox radio announcers just said (essentially): "Mariano Rivera is the best post-season closer of all-time, unless you consider John Smoltz a closer."

When I read that quote, why am I reminded of this?

This does not make sense

Giving the out-of-town American League scoreboard, radio broadcaster Ed Farmer just asked his partner if Houston/Cincy was an AL game.

Makes one want to put the mute on one's XM Radio.

I guess Girardi should have started Bruney.

(That South Park link is awesome, by the way. I don't get to watch the show much, but the clips I've seen are hilarious.)

Hughes looked pretty good. I’m bummed. Stupid rain.

Hughes and Kennedy don't seem to be getting any breaks this April.

Also, Latroy Hawkins apparently needs to go back to #21.

With the All Star Game at the Stadium, Melky's making a run at a fan friendly vote. He's been great so far.

Joba can't get beat on his slider. Terrible.

Ed Farmer and Steve Stone both have a really dry wit about them. If you're not familiar with them, you can easily misunderstand about half of what they're talking about. I love them together.

My favorite Stoneism this year has been in reference to Uribe's hitting. Something like "If the Orioles pitcher can throw this next pitch somewhere inside the ballpark, there's a really good chance Uribe will be swinging." I'm still laughing about that.
