NY Mets 24-14 at St. Louis 24-15 - 8:10pm ET

NYM: S. Trachsel (2-3, 4.91) vs. STL: M. Mulder (4-1, 4.27)

The Cardinals go for revenge tonight.  If Trachsel throws Pujols a strike, expect it to travel a reasonable distance.

Mulder missed real bad on those last two.
   126. AJM Misses Brodeur Posted: May 17, 2006 at 10:31 PM (#2025229)
Mulder wanted no part of Beltran.
   127. Chris Dial Posted: May 17, 2006 at 10:31 PM (#2025230)
Delgado's last PA would be great.

I love Delgado but he's prone to the strikeout. I'd rather have Beltran in that situation. Do you steal with Beltran?

I would like for Beltran to steal on this pitch.
   131. Banta Posted: May 17, 2006 at 10:33 PM (#2025236)
COME ON, DELGADO. JUST A SAC FLY, PLEASE

Finally! On Delgado's first AB, he dodged a sloppy curve that if he had turned his back, would have hit him.

SOmeone *must* have mentioned that, because that HBP was a function of Carlos *accepting* the HBP, and not using his usual "dodge the pitch" tactic.
