dan, al, and Troy all called that homerun. dan and al just got done saying that troy says when the weather heats up, so does he...they then go "well troy heres your chance" and bam.

Is that Jimenez pitching? jeezus christ, gas can meet fire

The Catholic in me wants to blame that grand slam on myself -- it was the first pitch I saw tonight. But I'm going to go ahead and blame it on Parisi.

Yea, you have to love a game that allows Jimenez to pitch at all. I guarantee that he'll allow another 3+ runs even if we pretend to come back at all.
   10. cardsfanboy Posted: May 31, 2008 at 08:13 PM (#2801547)
Jimenez, they are called outs, no reason to be afraid to record just one ####### out every 5 or so batters you face
   11. cardsfanboy Posted: May 31, 2008 at 08:21 PM (#2801562)
have to love an upcoming rain delay and everyone on the cardinals swinging at the first freaking pitch
   12. cardsfanboy Posted: May 31, 2008 at 08:38 PM (#2801592)
nice effort on the ball LaRue... just act like you don't care about the runner

Freddy Sanchez with a two out homerun in crappy playing conditions. Do we allow the most two out homeruns of any team in baseball

another two out homerun....is our pitching philosophy throw meatballs when you have two outs?
   16. BaseballDIY Posted: May 31, 2008 at 09:00 PM (#2801635)
The only way this game will be worth watching is if Aaron Miles pitches.
   17. baseballing powerhouse (phredbird) Posted: May 31, 2008 at 09:00 PM (#2801638)
maybe tlr will let a position player pitch in the ninth. that's the only reason i'd hang around.

"Plenty of time for the Cardinals to come back." Sure there is, Al. Shut up.
   21. BaseballDIY Posted: May 31, 2008 at 09:18 PM (#2801679)
OK, let's just have a Jim Hayes-Hungo throwdown. That would make this worth watching.
