Saarloos vs Sox sans Manny and Ortiz. Movable object meets resistable force?

When did Marco become plural?
Maybe that's a representation of the projected number of outs he'll make

A strikeout and two flyouts? When has that ever happened?

Way to keep rolling over that outside pitch.

Just an outrageous number of double plays.

Now that's what I call a ############' sacrifice fly.

Man, the RS fans close up shop quick. If they were still in the hunt there would be 150 posts...

*sigh* Macha is going to press his luck with another inning from Saarloos. NO WHAMMIES!
   15. Greg Maddux School of Reflexive Profanity Posted: August 29, 2006 at 11:43 PM (#2161007)
Why didn't you catch the last one?
   16. Bored Posted: August 29, 2006 at 11:48 PM (#2161016)
I hate Macha.

We've seen bad Kiko the last couple of weeks, desperately need good Kiko to show up right here.

Huzzah!

Have I mentioned how indescribably awesome it is to have Kennedy back?
   21. Dig!!! JMM Dig!!! Posted: August 30, 2006 at 12:01 AM (#2161032)
Kiko could use a week or so off. Probably can't happen until Street is back though.

Thank dog for the hero of Operation Aphrodite.

*spastic David Duval fist pump*

That wasn't too smart.

M. Kotsay singled to right
- M. Bradley fouled out to shallow left
- F. Thomas singled to left center, M. Kotsay out at home

Could someone please describe what happened on the Thomas hit. It ain't too often someone tries to pull the ol' Enos Slaughter play and score from first on a single. Was Thomas that slow? A Wavin' Wendall Kim moment by the third base coach? A combination?
   27. Greg Maddux School of Reflexive Profanity Posted: August 30, 2006 at 12:49 AM (#2161096)
Sweet.

It was your standard "Hey, there are two out, so let's hope for a bad relay"-type deal on a ball Youkilis cut off in the gap.
   29. Biff, Red Sox Jinx Posted: August 30, 2006 at 01:23 AM (#2161128)
Man, the RS fans close up shop quick. If they were still in the hunt there would be 150 posts...

Are you sure it was the Red Sox playing and not the PawSox? Could fool me.
