I like this lineup. Going from memory when they listed it earlier

Schumaker, Barton, Pujols, Ludwick, Ryan(3b), Ludwick, Kennedy, Lohse, Izturis.

no Ankiel today, left handed starter so that is probably why.

ok, messed up with that lineup there aren't two Ludwicks on the team,(meant to put Molina there) but even that would be wrong as Molina is batting after Ludwick and Ryan is after Molina. (I think)

tons of patience exhibited by the Cardinals in the first inning, 5 pitches I believe.

there is someone claiming that McClellen is the team MVP so far??? um, no. Ludwick, Ankiel, Pujols, Wainwright all have better cases.

interesting play by Barton on the double.

4-0 Rockies now.... all runs with 2 outs.

Lohse ERA isn't getting hurt because of the Ryan error, but in my opinion he should be charged for all of them.

Ludwick with a big blast.
   9. cardsfanboy Posted: May 08, 2008 at 04:01 PM (#2773974)
wow our defense has totally disappeared in this series. (except Ankiel and Izturis)
   10. cardsfanboy Posted: May 08, 2008 at 04:13 PM (#2773989)
pull lohse.
   11. cardsfanboy Posted: May 08, 2008 at 04:21 PM (#2774004)
damn, we have to quit allowing a run an inning.

and our announcers have got to quit talking about 'sacrifice flys from the rockies' and acting like it means something.
   12. cardsfanboy Posted: May 08, 2008 at 04:50 PM (#2774043)
if schumaker was running out of the gate, he would have had a double.

albert ropes a hard hit single, lands on the warning track on the fly, but bounced right into the left fielders glove.
   14. cardsfanboy Posted: May 08, 2008 at 05:06 PM (#2774060)
the official score just now(6th) inning changed Ryans error to a base hit....Lohse just all the sudden acquired 4 earned runs.
   15. cardsfanboy Posted: May 08, 2008 at 05:12 PM (#2774064)
5 runs down, 2 outs in the 7th, playing in Colorado and Albert out of the lineup. I say it's 50/50 chance we win this game.
   16. cardsfanboy Posted: May 08, 2008 at 05:14 PM (#2774066)
Izturis with an infield single, there is no way they can call that an error.
   17. cardsfanboy Posted: May 08, 2008 at 05:15 PM (#2774067)
Izturis steals a base, almost popped off the base, but man on second base with Schumaker up to bat and two outs...
   18. cardsfanboy Posted: May 08, 2008 at 05:19 PM (#2774072)
6 outs to go, 5 runs to score Ludwick will bat so that is pretty likely going to create a run :)

Izturis with a good play right there, another play that probably wouldn't be made by Eckstein.
   19. cardsfanboy Posted: May 08, 2008 at 05:30 PM (#2774085)
Barton, Parisi, Ludwick coming up to bat. Looks like they are going to allow Parisi to bat.
   20. cardsfanboy Posted: May 08, 2008 at 05:33 PM (#2774088)
Ludwick with another homerun...wonder who called that :)
   21. cardsfanboy Posted: May 08, 2008 at 05:50 PM (#2774103)
3 outs to score 5 runs (or is it 6) I give this team about 25% chance of having the tying run at the plate.... :)
   22. cardsfanboy Posted: May 08, 2008 at 05:52 PM (#2774106)
The announcers are talking about player of the game(cardinal announcers of course) one guy wants to give it to Ianetta but the broadcast booth suggested Ludwick.

If I'm Ludwick I'm not sure I give them another post game interview, after the Ankiel game they go to interview him(you know he had four hits that game) and the first question out of their mouth was "what did you think of those throws".....yep way to make a guy feel good about a good game.

took a split against Colorado, stole one game, gave one game away so I guess we won the number we should have even though it feels like we should have won 3 out of 4 after the blown save last night.
