Those things are ugly as sin.

I love them -- much more than the caps alone. I'm hoping Greg is our stopper.

Barton should be leading off. If and when he grows up to be John Olerud he can move down.
   5. Dan Posted: May 04, 2008 at 04:25 PM (#2768589)
These uniforms are ####### spectacular!
   6. Ivan Grushenko of HK in Tokyo Posted: May 04, 2008 at 04:29 PM (#2768599)
Either Barton or Cust.
   7. Greg Maddux School of Reflexive Profanity Posted: May 04, 2008 at 04:31 PM (#2768604)
Smith's havin' himself a day.

Yes he's not just crafty anymore

HOSSA!!!!!!!

And now back to baseball.
   12. Dan Posted: May 04, 2008 at 05:07 PM (#2768675)
8 strikeouts through 4 innings?
   13. Danny Posted: May 04, 2008 at 05:41 PM (#2768709)
0 for 9 with 8 Ks for Texas' 3-5 hitters. Saarloos had a game like this once.
   14. Greg Maddux School of Reflexive Profanity Posted: May 04, 2008 at 05:42 PM (#2768711)
I still wish they'd left Saarloos out there to go for 21.
   15. Greg Maddux School of Reflexive Profanity Posted: May 04, 2008 at 05:47 PM (#2768718)
For a second there I thought they might actually score a run off Scott ############# Feldman.

I love that "Due Up: Big Hurt"

Y'know, whatever works.

CUST!
   19. Greg Maddux School of Reflexive Profanity Posted: May 04, 2008 at 05:59 PM (#2768728)
CUST!!!
   20. Danny Posted: May 04, 2008 at 06:03 PM (#2768731)
I wonder if Dave Cameron is watching.
   21. Ivan Grushenko of HK in Tokyo Posted: May 04, 2008 at 06:22 PM (#2768759)
Oh good, we're ahead now.
   22. Dan Posted: May 04, 2008 at 06:33 PM (#2768767)
They should wear retro uniforms every Sunday.
   23. Ivan Grushenko of HK in Tokyo Posted: May 04, 2008 at 06:34 PM (#2768770)
Yes, but the 2007 uniforms wouldn't be a big departure
   24. Greg Maddux School of Reflexive Profanity Posted: May 04, 2008 at 06:35 PM (#2768771)
Er, disconnect four?
   25. Greg Maddux School of Reflexive Profanity Posted: May 04, 2008 at 06:37 PM (#2768772)
Don't walk this ####### guy.
   26. Greg Maddux School of Reflexive Profanity Posted: May 04, 2008 at 06:38 PM (#2768773)
I prefer it to a walk.
   27. Greg Maddux School of Reflexive Profanity Posted: May 04, 2008 at 06:39 PM (#2768774)
Where'd the zone go, guy?
   28. Ivan Grushenko of HK in Tokyo Posted: May 04, 2008 at 06:40 PM (#2768775)
Didn't Joe Morgan say he'd prefer a HR to a walk if the team's ahead by multiple runs?
   29. Greg Maddux School of Reflexive Profanity Posted: May 04, 2008 at 06:41 PM (#2768776)
If I were pitching, I'd make sure my catcher got "crossed up" on the next pitch.
   30. Ivan Grushenko of HK in Tokyo Posted: May 04, 2008 at 06:42 PM (#2768778)
Yea. A win.
   31. Greg Maddux School of Reflexive Profanity Posted: May 04, 2008 at 06:42 PM (#2768779)
Huzzah! And up Jeff Nelson's ass.
   32. TerpNats Posted: May 04, 2008 at 09:22 PM (#2768898)
Hey, a curly "W" can't be in the books in two places at once, y'know.

BTW, many Nationals fans are irked the Rangers wore replica '68 Senators uniforms today (especially since the caps they wore were Nats caps, not Senators ones...the "W" is angled slightly differently, and the end of the upper right prongs of the "W" aren't identical). I hope they wear old Senators unis for one of their games in Nats Park in June, but we'd rather it were the 1961-62 style, where the "W" was still in block form.
