Nats, you guys smacked the Mets in the mouth the last two series. Please win one game this series at least. Just one.
   4. PatrickInTheWoods, Apostate Posted: September 28, 2007 at 02:37 PM (#2548129)
I think you're right that one win by the Nats is all will take to get the mets at least a one game playoff.

Redding has been excellent since the callup. He was a favorite to make the rotation out of spring, but stunk the park up, so they sent him to Columbus. He stunk there, got called up when the 11th starter got injured, and has been excellent.

I was afraid of this from Hamels.

I love how in Gamecast pitches five and six to Jimenez are strikes on their diagram.

O no! The Early Inning Michael Bourn pinch running gambit. This game is sure to be tied in the ninth.

Whenever I put my son to bed, a little while after he gets in bed and the light goes out, he asks for me to rock him. After I rock him and he's ready to go to sleep for the night for real, about 1/2 of the time something good has happened in my absence. Ryan Howard owes that home run to my little boy.

What an awesome game pitched by Hamels in a huge spot. And Alou just struck out with 2 on end the 7th. Go Phils!!!
   32. Harris Posted: September 28, 2007 at 10:19 PM (#2549116)
I'm very much concerned that the Mets are going to come back against the Fish. They've gotten so many opps it's just a matter of time before they cash in.
I'd prefer the fish score a couple more....
   33. Harris Posted: September 28, 2007 at 10:43 PM (#2549226)
woo 1st place
   34. PatrickInTheWoods, Apostate Posted: September 28, 2007 at 10:45 PM (#2549247)
Wow. First place all by their lonesome with 2 to go. Wow.
   35. Textbook Editor Posted: September 28, 2007 at 10:48 PM (#2549265)
I'm very happy for all the Phillies fans here. I may have standing room seats for Sunday's game... with any luck it will be meaningless... in a good way.
