Quite possibly the single best non-banned player who is outside of the Hall of Fame. In 1915, our only question was the rank order between him and George Davis; we were going to elect both.

No way, Chris. "Charlie Maxwell's Silver Flint Hammer" is one of the worst post- Hard Day's Night Beatles tunes, let alone on this record.

Bill Dahlen may be the best deceased ballplayer buried in an unmarked grave. His biographer Lyle Spatz a couple years ago sent email notice (which I don't find now) of his missing or inadequate marker, inquiring for interest in designing and funding an appropriate marker.
