Thanks, Joe. That really helps!

I concur with John. This thread has made the project much easier for me to navigate.

In case Joe missed it in the other thread, however, can we please add the Negro League thread to the "Important Links" area?
   3. OCF Posted: February 13, 2004 at 03:06 AM (#517572)
Joe D.: This page, useful as it is, doesn't need a discussion thread. I notice that in the Primer Studies area, tangotiger sometimes closes off discussion of an item, leaving only the header and its links. I you know how tangotiger does that in his area, perhaps you could do that to this page.

Now this is at the top of the Blogpen section all the time, not so good.

Found and fix . . . this thread was archived, I've opened it back up . . . is this an issue with other threads as well?
   6. Joe Dimino Posted: July 11, 2010 at 02:04 AM (#3585384)
Yeah it looks like it. None of the links work, and the links only go back to 1958. This is not good.
   7. Joe Dimino Posted: July 11, 2010 at 02:31 AM (#3585389)
OK, this is a start . . . looks like we've got the links through 1971 back and the links for 1971 works.

I don't see any threads after the integrity of the ballot thread listed though . . . not sure if I was only able to unlock the threads I posted? Still digging . . .
   8. Joe Dimino Posted: July 11, 2010 at 03:09 AM (#3585406)
OK, I think all of the links are working for the results, ballots and discussions now. Please let me know if a link is broken, I didn't click them all.

Also, I was only able to open up the threads I posted, not the ones John set up . . . working on getting that fixed as well. Please let me know if there are any other issues.

Thanks!

I'm just a guy that likes reading some of the HoM threads. I saw a comment somewhere else that suggested the HoM had, for some reason, died. Did something happen, or are you guys just taking a nice summer vacation?

Perhaps when Joe is over his SABR convention hangover we'll get going again.
   11. Joe Dimino Posted: October 28, 2010 at 09:18 PM (#3678491)
Hey guys . . . I guess I'm finally over that hangover . . . We should probably talk about scheduling the 2011 election. I've been emailed there was some discussion, should I set up an thread for it?
   12. Joe Dimino Posted: November 04, 2010 at 07:08 PM (#3684081)
Just a heads up, everything that had been archived is now open for business again. I stickied the important links threads as well. I think we've got it all covered, but if something needs tweaking, please let me know. Thanks!
   13. Joe Dimino Posted: November 04, 2010 at 07:11 PM (#3684084)
1081 threads overall. Guess we've been pretty busy over the last decade. January 8, 2002 is our birthday.

continued from "Ben Taylor"(!).

At the moment "Important Links" also appears in the sidebar and that link takes me here.

Probably the list of important links should combine the best of both versions by including near the top all four of
(Links to discussions of) Negro Leagues Stars, Latino Stars, 19th Century Players, and 20th Century Players.

P.S. The nearly empty page Tetelo Vargas is missing from the Latino Stars directory.

I am new to your site, as a long time fan I love what you guys have done. I have always felt there were way too many guys in the HOF that didn't belong there and a few that did belong there that weren't ( love the fact that Minnie Minoso is HOMer, long overdue to be put in hall). Keep up the good work!!

Looks like we need to edit this thread to include MMP links.
