Three things I think of right away about Burkett
1) Crab
2) Flat bat
3) The adoption of the foul-strike rule/bunted-third-strike rule.

And the .400 years, of course.

Thought I read somewhere that Burkett was a cousin of fellow HOMer Jack Glasscock. Both are from Wheeling, WV. Is their relationship an accepted truth or am I imagining?
