The fun thing about McGinnity was that he was two months *older* than Amos Rusie, but with no career overlap (if you ignore Rusie's 22IP in 1901).

String those careers back to back and you get 491 Wins.

I have McGinnity as one of the worst HoM pitchers and contemporary Vic Willis as a heckuva lot better.

That career was discussed years ago: Amos McGinnity, the "Iron Thunderbolt".

As was Dazzy Ferrell and Old Hoss Bond.
