Hey Cliff...I was at that game (sweet, at least somebody remembers it...:)...What bugged me about Callison was that when the Yankee got him in that PTNL deal (turned out to be Jack Acher (as we called him)...quite a loss!)...fans were shocked to find a suddenly bespecled and worn out looking Johnny Callison that was misjudging fly balls.
Plus his 1-15 start didn't help.
1964. Had it not been for a famous collapse down the stretch, Callison would have been the NL MVP.
