That's my favorite part of the predictions, so I figured I would point out who did it for a handy reference.
As a Reds fan stealing a line from Red's best friend, --Hope is a good thing...maybe even the best of things.-- Biggio is downfall of 'Stros. TLR hurts the Cards more than he helps. Although Ankiel will be comeback player of the year (see first sentence).
D from D, Lark, Shredder, kamatoa, Paul B., Derek Burnham, Eugene Freedman, Buford Sharkley, Greg Tamer, Michael Ross, Jim Lynch, Craig Knox, Repoz, PhilTG, shall, mat gleason, Daniel Rodriguez, Paul Mazurkiewicz, Lucasmod, The Curse of Cito Gaston, Mikael, Troy Robison, Jeremy Buchman, Stevens, and Minks's Fantasy Team All-Stars took the time to write comments.
Paul Mazurkiewicz is by far the funniest I have read so far.
The Curse of Cito Gaston is second best.

Rey Ordonez will have been quoted as saying: If there were any Devil Rays fans, they would be stupid.
Primey, I say, Primey.
The restocked Sox and the improved, Imperical Yankees are maybe the two best AL teams. They also play in a division of weaklings.
Predictions:
Yankees: Wells breaks down, and Contreras takes his spot, to the tune of a 3.60ish ERA. George Steinbrenner kills a summer intern after a loss to the Sox. Joe Torre continue's to prove that he has been possesed by a pod person by starting Clemens no. 1 in the playoffs. Alfonso Soriano "only" hits 30 HRs. Joe Torre won't take him from the lead off spot, despite a .280 average and an admittedly improving .340 OBP.
Red Sox: Derek Lowe is better than expected, so is the defense. Hillenbrand gets at least 400 PAs, draws at least 30 walks, as the trade talks make him realize something about plate disicpline. Pedro Martinez has a banner year, so does Manny Ramirez. Garciaparra recovers to hit .350+ and slug 30 HRs. Trot Nixon has another good but unspectacular year. The bullpen gets second guessed, including by Dan Shaughnessy, who writes several pieces ripping in no particular order, Chad Fox, Grady Little, Alan Embree, Theo Epstein, Bill James, Bob Howry, Euclidias Rojas, and bullpen catcher Dana Levangie. Nonethless, it performs better than last years. Casey Fossum is solid, but John Burkett is not.
Blue Jays: Eric Hinske shows more power in his second year, and improves his defense. Vernon Wells continues to emerge from post-top prospect status to stardom. Carlos Delgado continues to hit at his steady rate. Orlando Hudson has a fine second year, but the pitching behind Halladay holds the Jays under .500. Josh Phelps is good, but doesn't live up to the hype.
Orioles: Rodrigo Lopez isn't as good (4.00ish ERA) and the pitching behind him is awful. The offense is anemic, but Tony Batista hits a few homers, and Jeff Conine has another solid year. Jorge Julio has a solid sophmore season.
D-Rays: Sweet Lou can't do anything about the playing level of this bunch, but keep an eye on them, with Rocco Baldelli and Carl Crawford in the OF, they have some good young talent that should make for fun scouting while you watch your favorite team beat up on them. Crawford in particular makes a run at the non-Yankee ROY. Baldelli isn't ready for the big time, but hits .240, and flashes all five tools. He is better at the end of the season.
