I like him even more.
Ya know, I never thought of Peavy as "undersized." I guess he is listed at 6'1", but undersized? I don't even know how to even approach that question cuz, yeah, like you said, you prefer the leaner, bigger guy (all other things being equal.....I just don't discriminate if the dude can throw the shyt out of it I guess.
Yearrrrggghhhh--
no, I don't. Should I?
RHP Welker hides the ball pretty well and has a short, efficient arm action along with a 92-93mph fastball and decent slider. I don't see why he couldn't be at least a good middle reliever, maybe more.
BTW, I'm actually just about to start writing a Jake Peavy article (finally, right?), so maybe I should drop an "undersized" in there....
This makes me all tingly in the non-sexual sort of way.
...so of course, now he's been hurt, too.

I think you guys know what I have to say about that one....I don't want to pile on and make the Pirates situation worse, but it;s hard not to. Not only is this the wrong selection, but this is the wrong diagnosis.
Gomez: [Throws a ball hard againts the net at work and screams fuuuuuuuuucckkk at the top of his lungs] I'm fine now
