Hey… Thanks to Chris Dial, I now have an “author archive”!  :-) ...

From time to time, I get asked about the pronunciation of Trevise:
Long story short. I misremembered the spelling of Trevize (in Asimov’s “Foundation’s Edge” and “Foundation And Earth") in 1997 when I was trying to decide from what characters in several different novels whose name(s) I would use for handles. (Lazarus, Jaxom and Leto among them.) When I realised my error about 8 months later, I had already settled on the current spelling. Although this/these guy(s) may pronounce it differently, I put the stress on “vise.” It should “sound” like “Denise"… Capeesh? ;-) ....
