I collect baseball video tapes and DVDs, and have quite a collection. I’m not able to trade any of them yet, though, since the computer I’m renting from school doesn’t have a DVD-R. I also collect baseball audio. If I had my way, I’d just sit back and watch games all day.

I play Diamond Mind baseball, although not in any league. I’d love to start a league if there was enough demand out there.

I’m interested in researching baseball in Asia, especially Taiwan and mainland China. If I could speak Korean or Japanese, I’d learn more about the game there.

Bio

I’m married to a great girl from Kaohsiung, Taiwan. We’ve been married since August, 2007. We speak Chinese only at home, so please forgive me if my post is a bit disjointed.

Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and raised in South Jordan, Utah. I returned from an LDS mission in Germany at the end of August, where I became fluent in German and began my fascination with the Chinese language. I’m currently studying at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, a double major in International Relations and Chinese, as well as a minor in German. I will graduate in August, 2008, after which we’re going to Nanjing, China, for 10 months or so.

I’ve been fascinated with baseball for my entire life. I played APBA as a kid (still have the cards somewhere) and loved to watch the game on TV. I was never much of a player, but I’ve never lost my love for the game, not even after the Strike of 1994.

Feel free to email me or talk to me on IM if you want. I’m a friendly Primate.
