Bio

Native of Pittsburgh, PA; currently living in Raleigh, NC. Have also spent significant portions of my life in Southern Maryland (south of DC, west of the Chesapeake Bay) and West Virginia. Self-employed software quality assurance consultant who also scores minor league games for Baseball Info Solutions. I also work two days a week as an income tax specialist - consider me well rounded in more ways than one!

Married to Paula since 1/1/2000 - the best thing I’ve accomplished in my life. Three children - Jennifer, David, and Marissa - the best things I accomplished in my life before Paula.

Writer for the last two editions of the Big Bad Baseball Annual, and for Baseball Think Factory ever since. I’ve always been more interested in the pitching-and-defense side of the equation than the offensive stuff, probably as a result of growing up with Mazeroski and Clemente.
