My family is from Gloucester, MA (The Perfect Storm, Captain’s Courageous). I was born in North Andover, MA. I spent a few years there, then a few years in the Rochester, NY area. Mostly grew up in Alexandria, VA (Remember the Titans), watching the last years of the Senators. My mom made me a Red Sox fan in 1967 because she wanted someone to watch and listen to the games with and dad was not that guy. We could get a blowtorch out of Hartford on the radio. Then the University of Chicago, a little bit of walking the world (I saw the Kal Daniels, Eric Davis, and Tracy Jones outfield play in Denver in 1985), and then back to Chicago.
