It was actually 4 IP, not 4 1/3, and he threw just 38 pitches.

Actually, that's wrong on the pitch count: MiLB.com doesn't count pitches, apparently. Ecch.

Erstwhile prospect Zach Segovia for Clearwater gave up 2 in the first, but that was it.

7 IP, 5 H, 2 BB, 2 R, 11 K

Jeff Corsaletti is 3-4 with three singles for Wilmington so far.

I believe that game is going to extra-innings.

Where were you getting 38 pitches thrown from?

Nice to see Scott Lewis (former Buckeye) healthy. Ish. 4 and 1/3, 5 Ks. Also, former Buckeye Matt Davis gets the save for Lake County.

From the game files at MiLB.com, but I then discovered that they record all strikeouts as being on three pitches, all walks as being on four, and all BIP as being on the first pitch. They only have accurate pitch counts at AAA.

I've also noticed that BA isn't keeping stats on its own site this year.

Where are these "game files" located?

Is that a permanent move by BA or is just going to take a little bit to get it up, similar to last year?

I sent you an E-mail.

I think it's permanent - they're linking to MiLB.com. That's not really an issue, because MLBAM is now the official statkeeper for the minor leagues, but it just eliminates a secondary source of data. If MLBAM is as good at keeping things up-to-date as BA was, we should be OK.

Probables are up for High Desert (Luis Cota) and Inland Empire (Robert Rohrbaugh)

Please post a summary - or send one to me and I'll post it. Ideally, I'd like to get as many first-hand reports as I can.

The one problem I have with milb.com stats is that for batters they don't have HBP or SF, which is pretty vital if you're calculating OBP yourself. I seem to recall baseballamerica did have HBP and SF along with the less important GIDP and SH, and maybe another stat or two. Is there a place that keeps track of HBP and SF?

If MiLB.com doesn't have it, my guess is that it won't be readily available on-line.
