San Diego promoted P Jon Adkins from Portland and sent OF Terrmel Sledge to the Beavers.
Justin Huisman, recently released by KC, signed with Round Rock. Aaron Williams was sent back to Corpus Christi to make room for Husiman on the Express roster.
The Braves demoted RHP Eric Schmitt to Mississippi from Richmond.
Jason Kubel should make his Rochester debut today. To make room for Kubel, the Red Wings sent OF Alex Romero to New Britain.
Andy Abad cleared waivers and accepted an assignment to Lousiville from the Reds. Darrell May also made his debut in the Reds' organization last night as the Bats' starter.
When Dustin Pedroia was activated, he replaced DL'd Josh Pressley on the Pawtucket roster.

Ole Sheldon (a 1B) is listed as the catcher and Michael Thompson (a 3B) is playing 1B. It's entirely possible that Towles IS in CF and that the Legends are trying to get a lot of hitters in the lineup.

I am finding that MLB Advanced Media is not especially reliable. This boxscore is missing a number of position changes.

RHP/tattoo lover Justin Miller apparently has been sold to Lotte.

C.J. Henry has been placed on the DL at Charleston. Ditto Phillippe Valiquette at Dayton.
Hayden Penn is expected to join Ottawa within the next 10 days.
And today:
Carolina placed P Chris Mobley on the DL, added P Christopher Young from Jupiter (for the second time this year), activated P Trevor Hutchinson from the DL, and sent him to Jupiter. Hutchinson missed all of 2005 following rotator cuff surgery, after missing some time in '04 with elbow woes.

Shoulder tendinitis - AKA "it hurts and we don't know why". He couldn't find the plate with two hands and a guide dog on Monday night.

Senreiso - He started the season with High Desert where he was struggling.
Huber is smoking the PCL. Surely even the Royals have to consider giving him a callup before too much longer.
This article should help explain it.
That's part of the idea.
A lot of people are smoking the PCL - did you see what Justin Leone is doing?
More to the point: As long as Sweeney, Stairs, and Mientkiewicz are clogging the 1B/DH slots, Huber has no place to play. He's not a catcher any more (there's no point in arguing that he should still be one), and until the Royals relieve the logjam, Huber might as well stay in AAA playing every day.

He was in Carolina last year, and he was throwing other kinds of slop. I don't think he was still throwing the knuckler.
