I thought that Randy Wolf was starting tonight for Clearwater, although I can't find anything listing a starting pitcher for Clearwater yet.

Brain cramp - forgot today is Thursday.

Usually, when I don't have a confirmed probable for the FSL, I go with the guy whose turn in is in the rotation. But I have about 15 different reports mentioning Wolf's rehab assignment (nothing since Tuesday - you'd think either the Philly or Florida papers might have said something) and none suggesting it's changed. I fixed it.

Steven White went 7IP 3H, 1R 0ER, 2K, 2BB in his AAA debut for Columbus. He doesn't strike out anybody, but his performance this year has been very impressive.

It would have been a lot more impressive if it had been against a team with a real offense.

The Florida Marlins might have more 1st and 2nd tier pitching prospects (vargas, sanchez, hernandez, volstad) starting today than some organziations have in their entire system.

Not impressed by a .258/.326/.392 line eh, Mike? What's up with the IL this year? Only one team has a SLG over .400.

Mike, I was at the Trenton game.

Nicely written, thanks for the link.

Thought this was funny, from MiLB.com:

June 8, 2006

Final 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 R H E
Birmingham 3 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 4 6 3
West Tenn 1 0 1 1 2 0 0 1 X 6 14 1

W: M. Prior (1-0, 5.40); L: M. Prior (1-0, 5.40); SV: M. Prior (0) </pre>

I knew Prior was good, but good enough to pitch for both teams?
