Mike, here's a report on tonight's Trenton game: FWIW, I didn't go to the game, just watched over MILB.TV.

Longest game in DBAP history (Bulls post-movie stadium) won by Durham 6-5 in 14 innings; Kevin Cash is the winning pitcher as Tamargo (home club's manager) curiously opted to burn through a ton of relievers throughout the game (9 pitchers in all). Despite earning the victory, Cash does not have a future on the mound - low 80s, movement-less junk.

What's more interesting than Cash's fledgling career as a late-late inning reliever is that I left thinking it had ended two batters earlier than it actually did - on a Kevin Witt homer to right. He hit it out, everybody walked off the field, and my wife and I headed to the parking deck (getting bopped in the process by a souvenir ball that one of the Bulls had tossed into the stands). However, Gameday records the following:

Bottom 14TH B:2 S:1 O:2 - Kevin Witt doubles (13) on a fly ball to right fielder Victor Diaz.
Bottom 14TH B:0 S:0 O:2 - Durham Bulls Manager John Tamargo ejected by HP umpire Tyler Bolick.
Bottom 14TH B:4 S:0 O:2 - Jeriome Robertson intentionally walks Shawn Riggans.
Bottom 14TH B:2 S:0 O:2 - Luis Rivas singles on a fly ball to left fielder Michael Tucker. Kevin Witt scores. Shawn Riggans to 2nd.

I see the regular minor league umps are back in the IL. I'll bet Tamargo said something like "Bring back the replacements" :)

Herald-Sun story.
