Anthony Lerew has his first good start of the year, Andrus has a decent hit streak going and Ryan Basner is striking out people like crazy in his last 3 appearances.

Also something I have been following online..

Meyer has had 3 good starts in a row, but is not striking anybody out. abysmal 9Ks in 25 ip.
his latest outing though was against a loaded Tucson team ( quentin, drew, young )
He was never a hard thrower ( hit low 90s at his best ). are these just pcl effects?
I know mike believes he is done

Is Mitchell Boggs seen as a real starter? I remember him as a releiver in athens

fun note about him-left after his freshman year to go to UT-chattown to QB then transfered back in the spring and played baseball

Jared Lansford made his debut for Kane County last night. He'd spent the first month of the season in extended spring training with inflammation in his rotator cuff. Lansford pitched five hitless innings before allowing two singles in the sixth and being pulled as the Cougars defeated Clinton 2-0.

Salt Lake City turned a triple play in a 7-4 win over Las Vegas. The 51s' Chris Truby hit a line drive to 1B Kendry Morales, who stepped on first to retire Jon Weber and then threw to second to catch Delwyn Young.
