AJC : Braves’ prospect unable to clarify HGH charge {RR}

Schafer was targeted in an investigation that began in spring training. It was conducted by baseball’s new investigative department, which was created after the Mitchell Report on performance-enhancing drugs came out in December.

There was no positive drug test — baseball doesn’t recognize any test for HGH as reliable (though the World Doping Agency says there is one).

The official would say only that there are other “non-analytical” means of establishing guilt, including possession of a drug.

“I want so bad to clear things up, and I want so bad for Jordan to clear things up,” said David Schafer, a Florida businessman. “But unfortunately the powers that be say not to say anything. I want so bad to straighten this thing out, I just can’t say. ... I don’t know what to do. He’s in a bad spot. It’s not the way it seems.

I would say why I posted this, but my attorneys told me not to reveal anything.

The thought police would get him just the same. Schafer had committed--would have committed, even if he had never set needle to buttock--the essential crime that contained all others in itself. Thoughtcrime, they called it. Thoughtcrime was not a thing that could be concealed forever. You might dodge successfully for a while, even for years, but sooner or later they were bound to get you."

I know why Schafer was caught for HGH...but I can't tell you.

You have to be pretty stupid to get busted for HGH these days because there is no test for HGH. He must have shipped it into the clubhouse or asked his Manager to shoot him up. Players today are using homeopathic hgh oral spray IN THEIR OWN HOMES to get the benefits. It's legal for over the counter sales and doesn't involve needles.

The site linked to in #3 advertises a "30X" dilution of HGH, which in effect means that there's no HGH remaining in it (which is why it's legal). The "benefits" in such a preparation depend entirely on one's faith in homeopathy.

Eh, hGH is not legal over-the-counter.

How could you not believe MP?

I won't tell you what professional sports team I play for but I will tell you that my workouts in the weight room are paying off on the field. I like the fact that it has real HGH and I like the fact that I can buy it legally over the counter. I just don't tell anyone I'm using it. Great stuff!

Maybe that's Mark Prior. But, the HGH isn't really helping him get back on the mound.

Homeopathic hGH might be legal over the counter, if it is so homeopathic as to contain less thatn 1 part per billion of hGH or something like that.

"Fifteen Braves prospects were hospitalized after drinking gallons of water laced with homeopathic hGH"
