MLB.com: Liriano roughed up in Twins’ loss

Coming off their biggest win of the year, the Twins looked to be suffering from an emotional letdown on Friday night in an 8-1 loss to the Royals at the Metrodome. One day after completing a series sweep over the White Sox to take a half-game lead in the American League Central, the Twins couldn’t do anything right in the series opener vs. Kansas City—offensively or on the pitching side of things.

MLB.com: Indians 11, White Sox 8

Wow. Who woulda thought that Bonser and Guerrier would blow a lead today?

Answer: Anybody and everybody.

To be fair, Bonser had the most unlucky 4 batter stretch I've ever seen. Two seeing-eye singles (one off his glove) and a soft liner that floated above the 3'2" Nick Punto at SS.

On the other hand, still using Shaggy Guerrier in close games is pretty much ridiculous.
