Arizona has won the first two games of the series by a combined 19-3 and has outscored its opponents 112-56 this season. The Diamondbacks were outscored by 20 runs on their way to the NL West title last year.
Winning games has been OK but I’m really happy the Dbacks are taking care of that Pythag this year. It’s the moral victories that count.

They have drawn 76, which is a pace for 724. THAT is what will sustain them when they eventually cool off. It's notable that Upton, Reynolds, and Young have exactly 1 HR between them in the last 7 days. Yet they keep scoring runs at a crazy clip. It's the walks and OBP that look like the key to me. It's been fun to watch. These guys are laying off tough pitchers just outside the strike zone. If they can maintain that approach, the offense will continue to roll most of the season.
Thats the teams first since April 7th. Yippee.
