Baseball a salvation in tough times

There always is going to be someone like Alexei Ramirez.

That is how baseball keeps going.

It doesn’t care about -777.68.

It doesn’t care whether the House voted yea or nay.

It knows only a scoreboard, and not the Big Board.

It is a salvation when you are so angry you cannot see straight.

It is a respite when you are heartbroken and worried about a mortgage.

Monday was one of those days when we needed baseball more than ever.

Baseball also makes the mute speak and the blind see.

Baseball also makes the mute speak and the blind see.

But does it make the moot relevant?

If you're in a position where yesterday's news affected you directly, then you probably have a really good life compared to about 90% of the world's population.

Does it care about + 485?

I agree with regard to daily fluctuations in the stock market (even really big ones) but the credit market continuing to tighten up will affect small business owners who rely on lines of credit the most. That could have some really nasty trickle down effects.

So long as you make sure it's shorter than you were expecting it to be.
