BASEBALL BOOGIE BUNCH (Video)

The 1986 Dodgers went 73-89. But at least they will forever be immortalized in this, the worst “Super Bowl Shuffle” rip-off of all time. Watching this video may cause nightmares, bed-wetting, aphasia, a loss of the will to live, cancer and quite possibly deafness when you rip your ears out to stop the pain.

Wonderful, tonight I will no doubt have a nightmare that includes Orel Hersheiser's gyrating crotch.

And somehow, Tommy LaSorda is no longer the most disgusting thing about the 1986 Dodgers. I didn't see that coming.

Hersheiser loved it. My guy, Bob Welch looked a bit like he was talked into it. Hersheiser though, well, his on camera wanna be stuff started early way back in 86. Where did this video come from. Ha.

Is that even legal?

Seriously, what were they thinking?

No really, 25 grown men, and not one of them thought that kids might watch this someday.

You guys are sure making this video look really tantalizing.

Is Mike Scioscia involved? Have the Angels blogs seen it?

And more importantly, 1986 was the Balvino Galvez era. Could we be so lucky as to have him in this video as well?

I knew there was a reason I spent that decade (and the one before...and the one after) knee-deep in the gentle swirls of punk vomit.

Anyone know who the old-timer in the suit is that waves at 2:29 in?

Geez, where did this video come from? Good stuff.

Where are the Piazza jokes? Has Primer grown weak or what?

Everybody in this video must be coked to the gills.
There is no other excuse for such a travesty.

Anyone know who the old-timer in the suit is that waves at 2:29 in?
Manny Mota, I'm guessing.

Who's the big dorky dude shaking his shoulders at the 4:20 mark?
Is Mike Marshall not in this? Perhaps Belinda Carlisle talked him out of it.

Geez, where did this video come from? Good stuff.

The Worldwide Leader has its "All-Time Greatest Highlights" posted here and this is number one on the list. It's a pretty weird selection - Rodney McCray smashing through the outfield wall sharing the same list as some poor kid passing out during the National Spelling Bee and Bo Jackson Tecmo Bowl "footage" - and the definition of "highlights" is somewhat strained, but there are some gems. I'm partial to #17 if you have a few minutes to spare.
