One thing I've always found odd is how many Japanese teams seem to have their logos, original or not, done in the Latin alphabet. What percentage of people in Japan can read that alphabet?

I'd guess that it's pretty high. I know it's a lot higher than the percentage of Americans who could recognize any Japanese script characters.
