All 75 of them?
My haul was a 1969 Gus Gil. Wheeeee!
Seriously? Then yes!
My haul was a 1969 Gus Gil. Wheeeee!
This seems to be one out of every six packs you'll pull a vintage...whereas the 1991 scam seemed to be one out of every six boxes.
So my mint Wayne Garrett pullage was an upgrade...big deal.
EDIT---man, was I off on that one...I think I was thinking of Bob Allieta... wrong team, wrong decade.
Can I interest you in a similar number of Ruben Sierra ROOKIE CARDS while you're at it? You know you just can't lose by investing in ROOKIE CARDS!!!
Fixed for a quick summary of the mortgage crisis.
This. One. CARD. Pays.
FOR THE ENTIRE SET ! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE. DONNY, WHO MADE THIS DEAL?
I tell you folks, when Donny gets me a name of who authorized this, I'm goi-what's that Donny? Yeah, a name! Because that person doesn't work here anymore! Sorry, where was I? Oh yes, look at this deal. You've got the 96 rookie cards, one of which is guaranteed to be a Hall of Fame candidatePLAYER CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? Then you add the box set. The 100 pack of commons. The wax packs, two of them. ANY ONE OF THESE COULD CONTAIN THE MOST VALUABLE CARD IN EXISTENCE. You don't know! It's like playing the lottery, but you're guaranteed to win! Perfect for a present for a youngster, because what youngster doesn't love Scott Chiamparino, right? He's got "Champ" right there in his name! But you may want to buy a few for yourself. I'm going to buy 30, and put them away, and in 6 months I am guaranteed at least a 2000% profit.
So how much? Donny, did you get me that name? No? KEEP WORKING ON IT. Folks, we're selling all this, all of this, the box set, the 96 rookie cards with GUARANTEED HALL OFmaybePLAYER, the two wax packs, and 100. COMMON CARDS for only $149! You're not going to beat this price. Last week, this was $400. Tomorrow night, if you miss this deal? $5000. You are a mouthbreathing hillbilly retarded person if you DO. not. BUY. THIS. SET!
(And then the next night, they're selling them for $99.)
I don't want one of these free cards either unless it's guaranteed to not be from the brief era in my childhood when cards actually fascinated me. If I get another Lloyd Moseby, Brook Jacoby or Dennis Martinez, joy will not follow.
Just look at all those empty seats. Where's Colavito playing, New Yankee Stadium?
